Ham Sandwich Overpowers Muslim Students

Although docile in nature, the ham sandwich is the natural predator of the Muslim middle-school student, often disguising itself as a lunch item until it can get close enough to the Muslim to consume its soul. This is the obvious belief of school administrators in Lewiston, Maine. School officials at Lewiston Middle School. The student who simply placed a ham sandwich on the lunch table is now being investigated by the local police for a possible hate crime. According to the school's superintendent, Leon Levesque, the student has been suspended, and more disciplinary action could follow pending the outcome of the investigation.

Muslim students sitting at the table claimed to be traumatized by the incident. Muslims believe pork to be unclean and highly offensive. According to Superintendent Levesque, "the school incident is being treated seriously as a hate incident." Police are currently investigating the matter alongside the Center for the Prevention of Hate Violence - who is also working with the school to create an anti-ham response plan (AHRP). Said Levesque, "These children have got to learn that ham is not a toy, and that there are consequences for being nonchalant about where you put your sandwich."

Please!! Give me a break!!

Virginia Tech Aftermath: Signs of Intelligence

Fred Thompson seems to be gearing up for a run at the White House. In the aftermath of the tragic killings at yet another of our educational institutions (Virginia Tech), he's written an open letter to explain his position on the shooting and why it happened at VTU. In short, Thompson argues, if there had been responsible adults with firearms at Virginia Tech, the tragedy would have been much less severe. Here are a few excerpts from his letter:

One of the things that's got to be going through a lot of peoples' minds now is how one man with two handguns, that he had to reload time and time again, could go from classroom to classroom on the Virginia Tech campus without being stopped. Much of the answer can be found in policies put in place by the University itself. Virginia - like 39 other states - allows citizens with training and legal permits to carry concealed weapons. That means that Virginians are far safer than they would be in San Francisco, Oakland, Detroit, Chicago, New York City, or Washington, D.C., where such permits are difficult or impossible to obtain.

Evidence from Israel, where many teachers have weapons and have stopped serious terror attacks, has been documented. Supporting, though contrary, evidence from Great Britain, where strict gun controls have led to violent crime rates far higher than ours, is also common knowledge. So Virginians asked their legislators to change the University's "concealed carry" policy to exempt people 21 years of age or older who have passed background checks and taken training classes. The University lobbied against that bill, and the legislature blocked the measure. Many other Universities have been swayed by an anti-gun, anti-self defense ideology.

Federal Reserve Unwittingly Helps Illegal Immigrants

A service sponsored by the Federal Reserve is helping illegal aliens send money back home because it does not require them to have a Social Security number. The service, called Directo a Mexico, allows customers without Social Security numbers to wire money through the federal system to Mexico's central bank, enabling illegal aliens to send money home cheaply. Beginning in September 2006, the Fed has allowed immigrants (legal or not) to open accounts at participating banks in the United States or Mexico.

About 27,000 transfers per month are made through the program. Remittances sent to Mexico last year totaled $23 billion. The Fed-sponsored service charges banks 67 cents for each wire transfer to Mexico. Rep. Brian Bilbray (R-CA), head of the Congressional Reform Caucus, says those banks were "profiteering from illegal immigration" - something that lawmakers are now working to prevent, according to the Los Angeles Times.

A spokesman for the Federal Reserve says Directo a Mexico complied with the Patriot Act, the Bank Secrecy Act, and other laws against money laundering. Customers must provide a consular identification card or other picture ID, and banks regularly check for authenticity. The problem, as I've been able to discern, is that any Mexican national (regardless of legal status) can get a consular ID. The bottom line is that Directo a Mexico is a potential national security nightmare.

New RNC Video Exposes Democrat Hypocrisy

Beginning with comments in 1992, the Clinton Administration and others in Congress (such as John Kerry) repeated over and over that we must use all available means to remove Saddam Hussein from power and establish a new government in Iraq. According to all available reports, Hussein had stockpiled weapons of mass destruction in Iraq... and the United States needed to safeguard against first strike by Islamic terrorists. In the aftermath of 9/11, these same members of Congress supported a strike against terrorists in the Mideast.

In March 2003, after months of negotiation and wrangling through the United Nations... and repeated violations by Saddam Hussein, the United States attacked Iraq. We did not attack the Iraqi people, but the terrorists were using them as shields. The Democrats who previously supported the war on terrorism saw an opportunity to take advantage of the situation politically and withdrew their support for the war. Until this video, their comments have not been collected in one place. Now you can hear for yourself... and see the faces of the hypocrites who called for war when their party was at the helm... then withdrew for the sole purpose of generating uninformed votes.

Connect with the YouTube video here. Too many people are falling for anything these idiots are saying about the war on terrorism. People who fall for idiot language often become idiots themselves. Be informed!!

Winning the War: West Point Teaches Jihad

One way to win the War on Terrorism is to better prepare soldiers before sending them into battle. That's why the military academy at West Point is teaching the next generation of military leaders the "jihad playbook" - and it's all about knowing your enemy. The classes are designed to help cadets respond effectively when they leave the orderly confines of West Point and lead patrols in the most chaotic and dangerous regions of Iraq and Afghanistan. What exactly do the cadets learn in these classes?

According to Jarret Brachman (Director of Research at the academy's Combating Terrorism Center) and colleague William McCants, the class discusses the three-step strategy terrorists use to overthrow existing Middle East governments:
  1. Terrorists bomb sensitive local targets such as tourist sites and oil facilities. This forces redeployment of security forces.
  2. Once authorities have concentrated their forces at economically vulnerable sites, terrorists move into remote, undefended cities.
  3. Expand the jihad influence by networking cities and regions together to overthrow the existing government, with the ultimate goal of establishing a caliphate.
Among the realities that most cadets - and most of the American civilian population - don't understand about the terrorists is that the enemy has mastered the art of propaganda, PowerPoint presentations, and explosives. They have created video games in which players shoot at American soldiers and U.S. troop vehicles explode. In addition, the intellectual father of jihad is not Osama bin Laden. It is an Egyptian national named Sayyid Qutb, who was executed in the mid-60s.
